FAQ

Can I buy a ticket for my friend?

Whilst the system may allow it, we will issue refunds to anyone who has purchased more than 1 ticket. Please ensure everyone in your group purchases their ticket through their own Twitch account.

Help! I can't find the venue on my maps app!?!

Since the venue is private hire only, they don't have much of a Google/Maps presence.

As such, we'd recommend using the what3words location: outfit.link.prompting which should bring you straight to the entrance of Steinbeck & Shaw.

Why is there a fee for this Community MeetUp?

We charge a nominal fee in order to deter people from signing up and not attending on the night. We also use the funds to provide private security on the night to ensure the safety of our attendees, as well as re-investing into our future events.

I don't stream... can I still attend?

Of course! We welcome everyone; community members, mods, staff, industry adjacent employees, and non-twitch enjoyers alike.

How much does it cost, and can I bring a +1?

Tickets are priced at £10 per person. Everyone and anyone is allowed - just make sure they sign up for their own ticket through their Twitch account.

Can I stream the event?

If you'd like to stream the event please reach out via our Discord or email to elijah@ccm.wales. IRL streaming applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. No internet connectivity can be guaranteed by ourselves or the venue.

Is the venue accessible?

The venue is fully accessible, and has disabled facilities. If you have any questions regarding accessibility please contact elijah@ccm.wales.

Once I'm in am I allowed back in if I leave?

Yes of course! Once you've been allowed in you'll be given an ID badge/wristband which will allow you re-entry at any time.

Is there a smoking area?

Yes. There is an outside garden/courtyard open to all attendees, where smoking is permitted. Please note that this area is not covered, however access is permitted regardless of weather.

Will there be soft drinks/alcohol available?

Yes! Drinks of all kinds are available from the bar at the venue. The bar will be open throughout the duration of the event.

Is there food provided?

Unfortunately food can not be provided, nor purchased on site. You are free to leave the venue at any time, and re-enter for no fee should you wish to grab food. Food from outside can not be brought into the venue, besides medical requirements. In the case of a special medical requirements please contact us in advance as to ensure no disappointment on the day.

Is there a code of conduct?

Yes, all attendees will be required to follow the Twitch Events Code of Conduct, as well as agree to the Community MeetUps Event Code of Conduct and Attendee Release.

Will there be entry allowed on the door?

Entry will be available on the door at a slightly higher price to cover card fees, providing we do not hit our capacity before then. It is strongly recommended to pre-purchase tickets to ensure your attendance.
